 Мавзолей Сайфиддин Бохарзи (12 в.)

As well as all Central Asia, Bukhara underwent all disasters of the Mongolian invasion in the 13th century. But already in the second half of century when the authorized representative of dzhagataidsk khans Masudbek becomes the Supreme governor of Transoxiana, on behalf of his and his mother in Bukhara two large madrasahs — Masudiye and Haniye are under construction. Construction activity continues here in the 14th century, from it two adjacent monuments reached.

One of them is connected with burial of the sheikh Sayfiddin Bokharzi — heads of a dervishesk award, an influential figure on the Middle East, living in Bukhara where he died in 1262. Its burial at once became the place of the ziarat. However, the ceremonial construction including a tomb-gurkhanu and the room of commemorations — to a ziaratkhon, arose later. The matter is that near a sacred grave not remarkable representative of a maveran nakhrsk branch Dzhagataidov — Buyankuli-han wished to be buried. It carried out in 1354 construction of the future tomb where it was buried, peahens the victim of mezhdinastiyny fight in 1358 during lifetime. The neighborhoods of this small, but richly issued mausoleum with open burial of Sayfiddin Bokharzi, obviously, induced the Bukhara clergy to include the esteemed grave in the building, which would surpass this mausoleum by greatness of the architectural forms. S. Bokharzi's mausoleum was built in the second half of the 14th century, being allocated with a majestic dome, and later — is complemented with the ceremonial portal with towers on corners and the crowning arkatury — revaky over the arch.
Decor the mausoleum is deprived, on over burial of the sheikh a reznok the wooden gravestone — a cenotaph, sated with carved ornaments and a ligature of the Arab letter was established magnificent (nowadays is in the Bukhara museum). In contrast with the mausoleum, Bokharzi the mausoleum Buyankuli-hana standing behind its gurkhany is small by the sizes, but is exclusive paraden on the finishing. His facades and interiors sate facings of a carved irrigation terracotta of generally blue-white-blue scale where the difficult and vegetable ornament is combined with elaborate inscriptions and geometrical grids.
Several words about the person, whose name and memory were immortalized by the mausoleum. Sayf hell dynes Bokharzi (1190-1262) veins in that vague, hard time when cultural and densely populated lands of Central Asia were occupied by the Mongolian conquerors of Mingiz-hana. Historical manuscripts are mentioned that Bokharzi was a person of big endowments and learning, the sheikh, the theologian, the poet, held huge authority and with the educated governors, and with ordinary people. Not accidentally it was called the sheikh it is scarlet-olam (the sheikh of the world). A wise word and the sheikh's estimates Sayf hell dyne were that that even the Mongolian khans reckoned with his opinion, it prevented bloodsheds and oppressions in relation to the people more than once.
