Kutlug Murad-inak's madrasah is located in east part Ichang-Kaly, opposite to Hodzhamberdybiya's madrasah. Among two tens madrasahs, which remained in Khiva, it is one of the earliest on construction time. The madrasah was built in 1804-1812 by the uncle of Allakuli-hana Kutlug Murad-inak.

Planning of madrasah is sustained in strict traditions. A blue mosaic very modestly trims the facade with the high portal and two tiers of loggias. This results from the fact that the beginning of blossoming of art of the well-known Khivan carved majolica was several decades later. Inside the madrasah is available a darskhana (the room for occupations) and also the mosque blocked by a low cone-shaped dome. The square yard is surrounded with arch gallery hudzhr to two floors. Kutlug Murad-inak's madrasah has 81 hudzhra and is the first two-storeyed madrasah in Khiva. On four corners of madrasah towers-guldasta with lamps tower. Tiles, glazed and terracotta with the stamped drawing decorate them. Distinguishes Kutlug Murad-inak's madrasah from other similar constructions ornamental panels from an imprinted terracotta and stalactites, unique on execution, in arch apertures of a facade. Such decor does not meet more in one of structures of the beginning of the 19th century.
