Мавзолей Хазрат-Имама

In the city of Shakhrizabs near the memorial, Dorus-Saodat complex remained one more monumental construction of Temuridsky time up to now - it is the mausoleum Hazrat-Imama. The imam Mahomed Bin Hussein Sheybani known as Hazrat Imam Baghdadi lived in Iraq in XIII – the beginning of the 14th century and after death was buried in the city of Ree. Amir Temur in 1384 occupied Rae without fight and perhaps transported remains of the Saint in Shakhrisabz, however about it no historical data remained. Nevertheless, the northwest tomb of the Dorus-Saodat complex received the name of the mausoleum Hazrat-Imama in the people

The Mausoleum Hazrat-Imama the building subsequently destroyed in which powerful designs of an angular pole the mausoleum was kind of built-in obviously stood still. Conical shapes of a tent dome, a drum and other architectural details of the mausoleum accurately indicate participation in its construction of architects and masters from Khwarezm. The main facade of the mausoleum issued by an enormous pole is focused on the West, towards Dorut-Tillavat ensemble. The pole is covered with a mosaic from glazed bricks. The most remarkable feature of this construction is its covering consisting of three domes. Internal, decorative, the dome is decorated with stalactites from a ganch, over it – the bearing constructive dome which is supported by arch sails, and the third, tent dome leaning on a cut drum rises on height of 27 meters. All east part of the mausoleum kept clear traces of two-storeyed extensions and continuation of the walls saying that it is ruins of not remained structure.
Through the door punched in east niche it is possible to get in the mausoleum. In small, but very high room there is a gravestone-sagana. On the western wall the molal niche – mikhrab is arranged. The northern facade of the mausoleum issued by a painted majolica is turned towards the extensive yard where later, in the middle of the 19th century, closely to a wall of a tomb the dome mosque Hazrat-Imama was built. From here the angular entrance conducts in a ziaratkhona. At a northern wall of the mausoleum, it was attached high painted ayvan with carved wooden columns. Nowadays it is the operating mosque in which services are daily held and also prayers for the peace of souls of the great ancestors who are based in the mausoleum rise.
