Комплекс Занги-Ата

Is to the settlement of Zangi-Ata near Tashkent. The ensemble evolved from burial of the sheikh Ah-Hodge known as Zangi-ata that means "black", the 12th century living in the end. It was the fifth myurid Hodge Ahmad's sufiya of Yassavi who was considered as the spiritual head of all Turkic tribes of Central Asia and Kazakhstan. According to the legend, the foundation was laid for ensemble by Amir Temur who built the mausoleum. The ensemble consists of an extensive garden, a complex of constructions where enter the mosque, madrasah, a minaret and the mausoleum Ambar-bibi.

The entrance to ensemble lies through a darvazakhana. This portal and dome construction with a turret - the mi-guldast on corners. The madrasah bends around from three parties the trapezoid yard before a facade of the mausoleum of Zangi-at. The madrasah is built from a square burned brick, with a large number of small rooms - hudzhr. In the southwest party the mosque like namazgokh is located. Before the mosque at the beginning of the 20th century the original minaret tower was built. The building of the mausoleum of Zangi-at is in the territory of the cemetery. From the southern entrance there is a planted trees and shrubs path to the mausoleum Ambar-bibi. The Zangi-ata complex is acting and is highly esteemed also honoring among Muslims.
