The mausoleum Abubekra Mahomed Kaffal of Shashi (1541-42) Abubekr Mahomed Kaffal of Shashi - one of the first imams of the Muslim world, the famous Muslim scientist, the expert on the Koran, hadis, the Islamic law and a lexicology. He died in 976/77 g, its grave became the place of worship, it was honored and popular. There is a legend that the nickname Kaffal ("zamochnik") is scarlet he got for production of the surprising lock which key weighed one and a half kilograms.

The architectural construction built over Mahomed Abu Bekr Kaffal's grave of Shashi also enters into Hazret Imam ensemble. The building of the first mausoleum of construction of the 10th century did not remain. In the 16th century on the place of the destroyed old construction the mausoleum Kaffal Shashi was again built. The mausoleum represents a rare kind of multichamber mausoleums-hanaka of the middle of the 16th century with asymmetric planning. It kept a decor, unique for Tashkent, - a majolica of the 16th century with the historical inscription containing a name of master architects and date of construction. The main facade kept several facing plitochek in an arch of an arch of the entrance portal. The present mausoleum has a rectangular shape, it is topped with a dome on the cylindrical, slightly narrowed drum. Wooden lattices-pandzhara are inserted into windows. The tomb of the sheikh is fenced off type-setting wooden pandas - heat. The mausoleum Kaffal Shashi represents a rare copy of a cult institution of the 16th century with asymmetric planning. The building looks gloomy not only from the fact that the decor was partially lost, but also from the fact that the discrepancy of the plan and overlapping is observed.
