Construction of a complex was begun at the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan of Islam Abdughanievich of Karimov.
The complex is put in operation on August 29, 2012.
Domestic experts projected and built stadium. Local building materials were used (except for special processing equipment). In construction and balancing and commissioning such well-known companies as "BOSh" (Germany), "SIS" (Great Britain) took part. The official opening ceremony was held on September 28, 2012. The President of Uzbekistan Islam Abdughanievich Karimov took part in it.

The complex is located in the territory of 37 hectares between two metro stations. Enter it: • Central stadium

For protection of the audience against rainfall over all sectors the special membrane from fiber glass fabric of production of the Czech Republic is established. Height of a covering is 47 meters.
The lawn of the central stadium is built by the English firm SIS which provided fields in Amsterdam, Ashgabat, Dubai, Düsseldorf, Istanbul and other cities. The size of the field conforms to the international standards - 105х68 and is sowed by 2 grades of a grass (summer and winter), has the strengthened drainage and heating (during winter cold weather allows to hold field temperature in 12 degrees).

• the up-to-date system of illumination of Philips in the 3000th luxury.
• 2 monitors of the Danish firm "Expromo" (11,5kh6,7metrov).
• The Spider system that allows to provide the full volume of the image for broadcastings

The stadium is certified by AFK and FIFA on the highest category.
CONSTRUCTION HISTORY
Construction of Bunedkor stadium is begun in 2008 and built on the place of the MHSK former stadium. The head of that time of Futbol Club Barcelona Huang Laporta and the president of football federation of Uzbekistan Mirabror Usmanov participated in construction of the first base.
Construction works lasted in an interval of 2008-2012 and is finished on August 8, 2012. In the course of construction the companies participated several foreign. Besides in equipped stadium the most qualitative products of world brands were used.
On August 28, 2012 took place a ceremonial opening of Bunedkor stadium. The president of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov directly participated in it.
The first official meeting in Bunedkor stadium took place on March 26, 2013 between national teams Uzbekistan and Lebanon. In it our national team won a victory the score 1:0.
Complex scale Bunedkor stadium consists of 56 hectares. In a complex except the main stadium there are 7 training platforms, the building of football school, the pool and others a structure.
